Posture Instructions

From the preceding posture, the left foot moves diagonally into a Left Bow and Arrow Stance to the left corner, with both hands moving to perform Rolling-Back, and then continue to move until they are in front of the chest, crossing them so that the right hand is on the outside of the left hand. Both hands then separate vertically and the right foot raises up and kicks with the toes.

Then the form moves diagonally into a Left Bow and Arrow Stance to the right corner, with both hands moving to perform Rolling-Back, and then continue to move until they are in the front of the chest, crossing them so that the left hand is on the outside of the right hand. Both hands then separate vertically and the left foot raises and kicks with the toes.

Posture Applications

When an opponent attacks with a right-hand punch to your chest, first reach out to seize his arm. Seizing his elbow and wrist. Then circle your arms bringing the opponent’s arm into a Rolling-Back position in order to snap his elbow. Then the hands are moved up into a Cross Hands position, bringing up the opponent’s wrist and arm. Then turn the palms out and kick with the right foot to the opponent’s shin or knee while  bringing your left hand to the inside of the opponent’s elbow and the right hand seizing his wrist. The left hand performs Splitting and the right hand performs Pulling all at the same time kicking to the opponent’s leg.
